I don't know where they're posted, but if you just say which one you want, I'm sure one of us has it in a book somewhere.

For the high performance ones in the good years

426 Hemi 425 HP

440 Six Pack 390 HP

440 Magnum/Super Commando 375 HP

383 Magnum/Commando 335 HP

For the non High Performance ones I know the 440 TNT is 350 HP and the 383 4 barrel is 330 HP

Sorry dont remember the Max Wedges off hand but I think the 413 Max Wedge was 415 HP and the Stage III was 425 as well as the 426 Max Wedge.

Be careful what you read, i see misprints all the time.

72 440 had a steel crank from the factory. The cast crank 440's started in 1973.

I can tell you the Max Wedge hp ratings as I could tell you them in my sleep.

413 with 11.0 comp - 410 hp
413 with 13.5 comp - 420 hp

426 with 11.0 comp - 415 hp
426 with 13.5 comp - 425 hp

In 1964 the high comp Maxie was dropped to 12.5 comp and still had the 425 hp rating. All the stage I , II and III Maxies all had these same hp ratings. Ron

well i pulled the heads and they dont look anything like 11.1 pistons their more like a 8.5 piston to me , well for $200 this motor is ganna work really well . i pulled the heads and all the junk off of it and ill say the guy took really good care of the motor , so my 906 heads are going on it and a eddy rpm performer cam and a tm7 intake with a 850 bp holley we will see what happens. any one looking for some 413 heads and water pump for a motorhome i have them and they look like they were just rebuilt
