We are installing a timing tape on the balancer this morning. I have a factory steel crank balancer on the 340. I have a cast crank balancer on the bench for easy measuring, and it measured 7 1/4 inches. As my installed balancer is very difficult to measure, would it be the same diameter? I just want to make sure I use the correct tape. We took a circumferance measurement on both balancers and they seem to be the same...but I would prefer to know for sure before installing.

Thanks
