What do you think do the 70 Roadrunner and GTX cars look better with the go wing or without?
Anythought would help me in deciding wich way to go.
Thanks!
Dave

I always say you cant go wrong with a wing on a 70 B-Body.

sorry.....I couldnt resist. I dont really like them! if it were me trying to make a decision of with or without it would be without. I really like them on the 71-72 B-Bodies or the E-Bodies though.

The bigger wing is another option but at a much later date after I have the car running and driving it then I might consider saving up to clone it to a wing car.

I love the wing on a RR & GTX.

I have an all numbers matching 70 GTX I am restoring that did not come with a wing. So, I got a second trunk deck to install one on. That way I can drive it with the wing, but if someone else wants a "pure" car. they can use the original deck lid.

ok, since you insist

i'm not much for the go wing, but under certain color combinations it looks great! i think it would look awful on my car...

the wings look nice, and i would go with the idea of using a spare trunklid, and save the original, for the purist, that may buy your car one day...

As much as I love Go-Wings there's something about the lines of 70 Road Runners that I think the car looks better without one.

If you decide to add one I agree with the idea of getting a spare trunk lid to install it.

Kayse can't keep up at all now. lol

When I had my 70 Road Runner I thought about putting a wing on it. I actually bought a wing but between the time I bought it and getting around to actually putting it on the car I had seen several 70s with wings and came to the conclusion that they just didn't have the right body lines for a wing. 71/72 Runners look great with them though IMO.

Im going towards white paint black vinyl top blackout hood black rear stripe.
Wondering about the black go wing to match it all or not.
Anyone have a pic of a WHITE 70 RR ? Maybe I could photo shop one with and without to see.
Thanks!
Dave

I fall into a mixed opinion. I have a 70 Runner, I bought a Go-Wing for it. but have looked at a bunch of them with the wing on them, and I don't think I'm gonna install it.

I thought about getting a go-wing when I first bought the Road Runner. My car was built in August 69 and the trunk lid does not have the cut-outs for the go-wing. I have another trunk lid with the cut-outs but having given it some thought I've decided it looks better without one.

I like the wing on most cars, but the 68-70 B bodies, in my opinion, look way better without it. Beauty is in eye of the beholder though. It is what ever you like. That purple 70 is gorgeous, I had one just like it 30 years ago. It's still one of my all time favorite cars that I've owened.

I've got a wing on my GTX, I'd have it no other way. I sold my 70 charger, it was a wing car also. On a charger they look like dog poop. I've built several 70 GTX's and roadrunners. I think it has a lot to do with the color of the car and the stance. I like the "day 2" look myself.

Yes, it needs one!
The Go Wing really makes the all 1970+ cars look awesome (with exception of the 1970 Charger) in my opinion.

Personally I think it'd look awesome on your car with the brown paint.
