Does anyone have recommendations for more modern front seats to replace orginals in a 1971 Charger?

No racing. Mostly comfort and style desired.

Thanks.

2005+ SAAB 93 Convertible.

Has inbuilt seatbelts and WAY cheaper than BMW/Merc seats with inbuilt seatbelts. (I had a quote from BMW for 645 convertible seats $25,000 a pair!).

there's nothing really to wire up, just seatbelt sensor, they're pretty simple. I haven't installed yet but will post on here when done.

Sounds good, don't think that there are too many SAAB ragtops in yards here but I will search.

Here is how Corbeau GTSII seats look in a 70 GTX.
VERY comfortable, fairly retro looking, and they recline/lean fwd for rear seat access.
Don't know how easy they fit on to a stock frame/mount as mine were gone but I do know the frame Corbeau has in about 3" too tall. I had to cut it down so my head would not hit the roof!.

lol.. there is nothing thats even close to retro looking with those seats. they are nice looking and are probably comfortable as hell but not retro thats for sure.

No idea how they would look or fit, but the seats in my 2007 Cadillac CTS have the built in shoulder straps if thats what you are looking for. Super comfy too!

They can be bought for reasonably cheap off of eBay.

I agree - my CTS seats do everything well. Except tilt forward. Won't work in a 2 door with a back seat that is ever used.

Eh - thinkin's overrated. I suggested in another thread seats out of a '97 Sebring JXI vert. Very nice seats with built-in shoukder harness so nothing to climb over to get in back.
