I was pretty sure I had a 67 with hydro non adjust rockers

might have been worked on before I gots it

what are the specs on that E4 grind?

uncle had a 273 with a .500 lift something or other that was nasty in the 273,he siad 273 hipo but I thinks it was aftermarket with that lift

I know they can be fast..just ask member "Class of 65" with a record holder 273

There was a 273 Super command i think they called it from the factory .500 lift solid cam and a 750 holley very rare however

You must be referring to the D/Dart

Yep-per!! They took the 10.5 cr, 235 hp/273 motor
and just gave it a DEEP breathing exercise. Chrysler changed the 235hp solid cam to the 275hp
solid cam (284-284/60 ovlp/.505in - .505ex) with matching springs. Good
cam for the 273, as stated before, gotta keep the
rpm's up in the midrange or above to make power. They also replaced the 500cfm Carter AFB, with the 700-750 Holley carb. Good package!!

IIRC 67 273 is non adjustable rockers and hydro lifters

the 64 is solid lifter cup and ball push rods adjustable rockers

could have a steel crank in both

64 may have closed chamberd heads with small valves

I think 65 is the oddball intake bolt pattern on the 273..1 yr only

67 was solid lifters. Changed to hydro in 68

Also, use the 67 heads so that you have more intake choices, unless you already have the intake you want to run with the early heads.

Also the 920's flow better

I was there, but I didn't have a swap space or a car in the show so I was mostly wandering. I did get a few good buys in the swap, though.
