Dwayne Porter, Jeff Koblynski, Chris Uratcho and now even Chuck Millen have not made many passes this past year. So by some standards they are not qualified to post? But someone with a 30+ year old, unmodified slant 6, in a beat-up car that races regularly meets the standard. Without clarification your original post can be taken wrong. Otherwise, I'm happy and qualified to disappoint the standard. My rant would be someone who goes fast and races that thinks he knows everything. As-if buying and using someone elses proven speed parts and combination is the highway to knowledge.
again you missed my point....all the guys you mentioned, VERY knowledgeable and they are the guys that SHOULD be posting...some people cant change a spark plug, but will argue about ??? with the above mentioned people...thats the people im talking about
So your saying 99.9% of us in hear should get lost???

Ya think they're gonna call themselves out? And what if they do? This is the Internet, remember? Ya gotta have a good BS meter going all the time, and ignore the flakes/trolls. Just like water off a duck's back - let it roll right off.

It doesn't take long to weed out the knowledgable posters from the people that just want to type something or argue. I've found it quite easy to "read past" some people's posts once I figure out that they almost never know what they are talking about - and of course also know who's posts to zero in on for their factual knowledge-driven information.

Lets see. I get to the track, on time, with a car that is properly prepped. I bring the necessary safety equipment, and enough parts and tools for minor problems. I set up my pit to be usable but mindful of my neighbors. I listen to the P.A. and know when and where I am supposed to be. I do my burnout when I am supposed to, and stage when I'm supposed to. And I EXPECT to be there for the next round. And last but certainly not least, I'm courteous to my fellow competitors, win or lose. Yeah, I am a RACER.
