I am going to buy a Grant Tuff Wheel repro from Summit Racing this week since I have a coupon for $30 off any order of $100 or more.

What exactly do I need when I ask for the Grant Tuff Reproduction? Does it come with the horn pad? Do I need to pick up one of those "cans" for an A-body steering column to extend it?

Anyone?

P.S. I already know that the Grant wheel isn't corrrect or close enough for some people, but it works for me in a driver...I don't need a thread going into what wheel is better etc.!

So nothing else is needed other than the Grant Tuff Wheel??? No can or kit? Sounds too good to be true!

I have the leather wrapped wheel for my '70 Duster. You'll have to have some kind of extension adapter to put the wheel out a little further so it clears the turn signal and your knuckles don't hit the dash. Grant makes an adapter, but it's ugly, so I bought an original steering column adapter (can) and it's perfect.

I am still having a problem getting my horn button attached. I can't seem to get it on. I have the circular horn actuator from an e-body, but the horn button doesn't snap in. I'm thinking I'm missing something. If anyone has any ideas for me, feel free to mention them.

Good luck with your steering wheel, you'll love it.

At Summit Racing it says you need an installation kit. What exactly is in their installation kit??

As mentioned in a previous thread, do you need the can if you gently bend the turn signal switch? Someone mentioned that without the can, your fingers/hand hits the top of the dashboard.
