Wow........decent repair , but that was a seriously roont chamber for sure.
That had to sound as painful as it looked.

Just curious..
What does a new bare head cost?
And what did it cost to fix that one?

I would have done the same, I just didn't know what something like that costs.

I'd replace all the valves and hardware wile it's apart.

its getting a new set of valves definately

I'm no machinist, and have never had a head repaired like this, but it seems that I still see some pits there that might create some real hot-spots in the chamber.


It's good to know that something that ugly can be fixed, though.
