I went to the PINKS all out when it was held at RT66 in Joliet...I was there as a spectator with a friend...we got there early, watched some T&T and then the qualifying...we also walked the pits and met a few from here..

looked at some awesome cars, ate, dranks and felt merry...

so we went back to our seats and watched some more getting sunburned to death ...was a great time till they anounced that they had the group which was exciting being 8 second machines

and they dropped the hammer on us

RACING WILL COMMENCE AS THE SUN GOES DOWN

so here we are with 4 hrs of what the.....

so we ate again....walked the midway again...couldnt do the pits no longer as our feet were killing us and then finaly it started

great racing ..action..but having to sit around for hours just killed it for us...had we known we would have arrived later in the day..

I do have to say that it is extremly entertaining LIVE..

as far as filling the stands..it does that however the NMCA/NMRA fills the stands more and there is racing all day long..

I liked pinks all out. It was a screwed up format but I enjoyed watching the wide variety of cars going at it heads up.

That has to be the stupidist thing I have ever seen!! Love him or hate him,Rich C has done more for the weekend racer than NHRA or IHRA combined. When we went to the All Out at Gateway,they said it was a bigger crowd than a national event. The show was drawing pretty good crowds were ever it went. A lot of track owners will attest to that. It gave the little guys and gals racers a crack at being on national TV and a shot at 10 grand. Not often that will happen anywhere!! If the show is dead,I wonder if it was the new format that killed it...Maybe Rich got too greedy? Who knows...I do know that Gayle and Rich were really into the fitness programs and were strong supporters of our local wellness center where a lot of our school kids work out. They are nice people in person and I wish them the best in the future. I also hope that someone steps up to the plate with a TV program like this!!

as for guys out here bashing it and others
shows
we just lost a track (gateway,)
sure hate to see other lose as well \
anything that brings the attention of drag racing to the forefront i'm for it !!
because we have lost so much in the last few years
soem of our to blame for allowing other to 'state an opinnion'
we hate paul page nhra or rich on pinks
we hate the way this track treats us so we will drive 200 miles away from it race on tracks that are not designed for the speed of which we go at todays level
what are we thinking!!
we are losing this sport because of this crap!!
we need to all work together , make things better not bash ourselves to death
if we dont we will all lose
i for one have seen enough losing racers race tracks ,, friends ,

That little Pilot sucked IMO.

I cant see it gathering any interest for any length of time. What a stupid idea IMO.

But so are alot of the other dumb reality shows, that actually gather a audience.

Not so sure that would work in the hood,The first race started with a gun they would all be pulling out guns and shooting or everybody would be hitting the ground,lol

FOOTRACE TV? Please; enough is enough. Only way to make it interesting would be to sneak a 1/4" cable across the track at knee level about 5yds before the finish line.

What you mean they might start using the tree at a drag strip? Noooo cause I mean god forbid you use the technology the track paid good money for. Nah gotta find another goof to stand on a box and wave his arms so you can have constant fights over whether someone jumped or not. I mean afterall it's not drag racing it's street racing right? Oh wait they do call all that bs drag racing on pinks. Yet half the people you see on the shows are street racers.

Myself I pray he's gone and stays that way and they really do start using the tree and timing system like they should of to start with.

I have Bret Wegner on facebook (the host of passtime) and he said that its possible he will be hosting pinks from now on...i think that will be awesome, hes a way cooler and funnier guy, not to mention down to earth

as for this new show, you can thank rich's fit wife for that...with all the stupid shows out these days though, it doesnt surprise me...its funny though, the way he talks is exactly the same as pinks, but with guys running on foot..LOL!
