Is it possibe to put in freeze plugs in a 318 duster without pulling engine? Any ideas on removing and reinstaling would be agreat help.

Side and front - yes. Rear no unless you pull the transmission.

I usually just drive in one side with a big punch so it will turn in the block, then pull it out with pliers or small vise grips. But, be sure you can get a straight shot at hitting the new one in with a socket that fits inside the plug with an extension on the socket. Over the K-Frame will be very difficult.

As said knock it sideways then pull it out w long slip joint pliers and on the side some plugs are very close to the cyl walls (at least on a BB) so if your punching it & you get that feel (& sound) that you get when a piece of metal being driven has seated STOP & go back the other way.
