Did a search on rechroming pot metal. It looks like it is over a year old. A couple of places where talked about in there. Iversons and custom chrome and superior plating. So who else does this. Anyone we should stay away from?
Thanks corey

I can highly recommend Pau'ls Chrome. I don't like their website's noise, but they sure do nice work.
1970 Plymouth 'Cuda #'s 440-6(block in storage)currently 493" 6 pack, Shaker, 5 speed Passon, 4.10's 1968 Plymouth Barracuda Convertible 408 Magnum EFI with 4 speed automatic overdrive, 3800 stall lock-up converter and 4.30's (closest thing to an automatic 5 speed going)

Find out how they treat pits and surface imperfections. If they say they grind them out, run away, fast. Find out what they use for filler material. If they say bondo, run away, fast. Needs to be some sort of metal - lead, etc. Start by giving whatever shop you choose to use ONE piece that you are not afraid of losing if they screw it up. See how long it takes for them to return it and in what shape. And stay away from Nu Chrone in Falls River, Mass. DAMHIK
In addition, I always look to see how sharp and crisp the edges are after plating. To many shops throw so much chrome on piece that they loose that beautiful contour and edges (taillight bezels). And on occasion, I have seen so much chrome on the part that it no longer properly fits on the body. If you send a "test" piece, take a lot of close up photos and compare once it comes back.
