m46rat top fuel Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 1,652 Calgary, Alberta Canada	They are correct for 72 and up cars, 70 and 71 cars do not have the two holes shown in the front of each insert. The front of each of these should be painted a flat black color. Does that answer your question?

noplanb OP enthusiast Joined: Jun 2006 Posts: 344 PA	The part numbers look like 2998212 and 2998213 (hard to read). Two large pins on the back plus the screws. No idea if they're original to the car. I was leaning to blacking them out, the bright ribs just call attention to the fact that the scoops are fake.
