BigMoneyLewis master Joined: Aug 2004 Posts: 4,247 Alabama	Stereo crossover box , and since you took it out of a B body , it was from an AM 8-track car. (1970 B body AM FM radios were mono ) All AM 8track B bodies had 3 speaker dashes . The AM stereo 8 track radio produces 2 channels . By going through this box, it then creates the 3rd channel . Lower base sounds are directed to the center speaker, and the higher sounds to the two outboard speakers. You will also find a special 3 speaker harness under the dash as well.
