Chuck and Pete of Best Machine are two great guys that know how to make power & go out of their ways to provide service before, during & after the sale. Plus, they're friends of mine! Give them a call, you won't regret it!

I have been a board member on here for many years, and a lot of members know me personally.

Those that do, know i am a terrible politician and always say what is truly on my mind, if it ruffles feathers or not

The above all said....

I had a complete 422 inch smallblock built by Best a few years back. I was super happy with the work, consistancy, and long term power this motor made, and still makes with its new owner as we speak.

I would have zero problem recommending Best to anybody.

You tooooo ? .. ...

They seem to have GOOD reports here but my experience with email contact has not been so lucky. The two times I sent them emails about block machining time-factors and pricing went uNanswered.

I had a motor that had been hurt, so I took it to Pete and Chuck, on Steff's recommendation. I was very impressed with their knowledge. Also, I am always skeptical that the oversell will begin after a shop starts working on your engine. This was not the case at all. These guys are a class act. I am still sorting out my combination, between traction, fuel, and electrical, but the car has proven to me that there is a lot of power there. I'll definitely go back to Best!!!

They machined, cleaned, balanced, blueprinted and assembled my motor and it makes great steam.
They sent flics of the build up as it was going and corrected all the errors from the previous builder.
Very satisfied and great service and knowledge.
I live in New York and made the run out to Detroit during a Blizzard to deliver my motor and picked it up as well. Motor was great for traction in the snow in my Diplomat. LOL.

They built the motor for my Charger and the one in my 300...very happy; very good people, and although haven't been in contact for awhile due to personal changes in my life, I consider them good friends of mine.

Fair, honest, knowledgeable, competent.

Some of the best guys out there. The attention to detail and quailty of work is second to none. I had them build a pump gas 572 for my dart.
