Both the front and rear accelerator pumps have leaked off and on since the car has gone together. Has anyone else had this problem? I have taken them both off several times and checked them for obvious signs of damage, but I have not seen anything that would indicate a problem. I have even replaced them in case I overlooked something I can't actually see. Is there a better carb. I should consider for a street/strip car?
It really doesn't matter whether you win or lose… as long as you look good doing it!

Check the reataining screw lengths to make sure there not bottoming out before tightening up on the housing the diaprhams are siting in You might need to grind or shorten the lengths of those screws
I agree, had this happen before when i modified a 3310 rear bowl, if they are not just right they WILL leak, Don't understand why in your situation they would leak (especially if it was a new carb) unless you got it used & someome changed the screws, also make sure the 2 surfaces are true & flat.
Other then a ripped or punctured diaphram/too long of screws or surfaces not being flat theres no reason they should leak, there are fixable, so no need getting a whole other carb.

Sell it and call PC Carb in So. Cal. I personally have not messed with a Demon carb, but I have heard plenty of people that struggle with them. Thats not saying that the person may not have been 100% familiar with what they are doing but they had problems none the least. PC Carb in Ontario California has never let me down with there builds. I build several engines per year and they all get PC Carbs on them. No problems EVER and they ALL run beautifully.
10.53 @ 125mph. 1.37 60 foot. Caltracs and Monoleafs, AFCO shocks.
Heads by INDIO MOTOR MACHINE; IMM. CP Pistons, PC Carbs.
