I got the new 1/4 window seals today and want to install them. I don't see how to remove the old ones that are on the window. On the window it has a chrome strip, the new one is just the rubber. The rubber on the old ones is warped and not even sealing. It looks like its going to be hard to do.

If I remember correctly. I bent the pointy tab outwards and pulled the seal out of the chrome. Then lubed the new seal and slid it in. Then bent the tab back down. It was a few years that I did it so maybe someone else will chime in.

and don't expect the new seals are good like the old ones.
