thats what im screaming, and the worst part is since i tune my own stuff with an aftermarket standalone setup i get it to run cleaner too, but it does not matter in cali!!!! I actually can get it to run as clean as a partial zero emissions (PZEV), so even though it runs cleaner than it ever did i cannot do the swap "legally" stoopid... hey i have a rb 543 cuda- stroked, roller, alum headed car, but hondas get mpg, and do it all the time with no worries about reliability.... make fun if u want. i can take it. ill still be driving a 12 second everyday, all day... thats all that matters in the end.

Not to things up, but you know the smog rules for CA, yet do a swap and then complain when they dont let it slide, why not leave the honda stock and save the speed part fund for the barracuda?

if it sniffs clean at the station, how do they know it's not the factory engine? because you're running stand alone EFI and the factory computer won't register anything when they plug a computer into it? is there a way to switch the EFI stuff to run on the factory computer for a day in order to pass the test? or rig sensors up to the factory PCM to fool it into thinking it's controlling the stock engine and not throw CELs even though your stand alone unit is doing the work? as far as the laws in cali...sorry...I'm not allowed to discuss politics here!!
