scratchnfotraction I Live Here S Joined: May 2003 Posts: 15,487 Florida	it will vary engine to engine oil pan to oil pan truck? car? center sump? rear sump? best to pour 5 qrts in,run engine to fill filter,check and mark stick I have trimed tubes to adjust the full reading on the stick also but that only goes one way,if its short you cant add tube back
