I'll be heading east in a few weeks, changing jobs, really same job, just moving to a competitor company. I'll be heading back east will probably be living in WV, possibly southern PA, one of the harder parts of leaving is I sure have some good racing friends in this area. But it will be really good to get closer to my family in Kentucky and I am getting a little tired of the long Wyoming winters. I know there is a track pretty close by, Pittsburg 1/4 mile, think thats home track to BG racing?, and a 1/8 mile track in Charleston WV, any other racing in the area? Any outlaw type tracks? look foward to meeting some new racing friends, and heck it won't be bad at all to pick up .3 or .4 the easy way,,,,,good air,,,,I'll be close enough to race once or twice a year where I fell in love with this sport to begin with, Beech Bend at Bowling Green Ky

yea there's a good bit within a 3ish hour radius: Beaver Springs (Beaver Springs, PA), Mason Dixon (Boonsboro/Hagerstown, MD) 75-80 (Monrovia, MD), Pittsburgh (New Alexandria, PA), National Trail (Columbus, OH), Quaker City (Salem, OH) and if you don't mind driving a little further you've got Maple Grove, Thompson, Norwalk, Quarter Aces, Numidia all within drivable distances for some events. I know there's a bunch of 1/8 outlaws too, not to familiar with them though. Summerduck may not be that far?

There is Magnolia Dragstrip at Magnolia, Ohio. Nice little 1/8 mile track. Eric made the trip from Pittsburgh last weekend and enjoyed himself, I believe.
If you like drag racing, support your local track.

what he said. Depends on how far you want to travel. I guess if you are going to toss in 75/80 you can toss in Capitol Dragway in Crofton, Md.

Thanks for all the info guys, I'm used to driving 300 to 400 miles to some races, but it takes a lot longer ussually to go that far back east, out west we have a lot less people and towns to get in your way, and the police are a little more liberal with the speed limit. BG I'll definitly get with you when I get there, and I'll be working in the natural gas industry, you haven't got some land with a nice house and shop on it do you? Al, missing Vegas won't be easy either, have met a lot of good people from all over the west down there. Hoping to be able to run several NSS events back east, so that should be fun. Looks like I'll be heading that way in 2 or 3 weeks, have to get all the house sold here, and tie up all the loose ends, probably be making the big part of my move about mid Jan, hopefully not during a blizzard.

Thanks guys, from the west and the east, as with anything like this, pretty excited and a liitle nervous at the same time. Been looking on the internet and housing is a better deal back east, lot's of houses out of town, on a few acres, not too many with a shop, but will have to build one of them right away. Look foward to meeting all you knew guys, and hopefully sometime I'll see all you guys from the west again. Jay hope that hole stays dry for a longggggg time. You just need to start racing more again, kids, motorcycle,,,ect know how all that is.
