The guy says 1.00 inch diameter. I don't know how to translate the 448/449 numbers into the mopar part number series that ends in 148 thru 155 for A bodies.

Thanks

The largest factory a-body bar was the .890 big block bar. Mopar Performance had bigger bars, but the ad sounds like they are factory original small block bars (.850 or .870). I'd pass, especially since he's not showing the part number end and can't measure correctly.

does the guy need the part numbers? how hard can it be to measure the diameter of the bars with a pair of $20 calipers from Autozone? the set I have is accurate to at least the .1!! (even though it measures to .001)

Unless you need calipers now, just grab a big crescent and a tape measure.

Yea, but you still need to know how to read a tape measure. That might be a stretch for the seller

About 20-years ago one of the Mopar Magazines (maybe Mopar Muscle or Mopar Action) listed the cross reference of the numbers on the torsen bars and the Mopar Perfprmance part number for ordering, but as I recall, The 0.990" bar was the largest bar that had a Left and Right torsen bar. The torsen bars lagrer than that used the same number (on the bar) for both left and right side.
