I think someone said it was running low 5's on 28X10.5's with a plate system.

The engine may very well be the small block he had in his Avenger years ago....

i saw it last month at ohio valley(when he put in on the wall, causing the primer you see). before that happened i made it to the pits to see it(hood down). bill wasn't around, but i spoke with a guy with the crew, said it was bill's brother's car, and the avenger had been sold years ago.he was working on another car for himself, but didn't mention what it was.the run before the wall incident was 5.35 or 5.38 if i remember correctly, next run big wheelie off the line, then onto the wall. glad it didn't hurt the car or driver bad.

I saw it about 1 1/2 years ago. A friend of of mine had it painted. Then assembled the body and interior before sending it back to Bill for the drive train. I thought Bills son was going to race it. Like any of Bills cars no stone was left unturned, show quality all the way.

IIRC Brian Hicks bought the Avenger and his wife? drives it. Heard Bill has been building his old 71 Roadrunner for 10.5 Outlaw duty with mucho Carbon fiber and other trick stuff....its been years in the making.

Bill has a small fogger kit on it like a 28/24. It is a w-8 engine that was the very first small block in the avenger and wasn't in there very long before he went to the w-9 engines. I have pics of his Roadrunner but I will have to call him to see if he cares if I post them.

One day I will have something cool here.

The Cuda was nice. I ran at the KOS race in Richmond where it got wrecked.....actually me and a friend helped him out of the car on the top end after the wreck. Have to look around and see if I have any pics from that race.

Do you have any you can post? I don't think I've ever seen that car except for the crash photo that was in the magazine.
