Zoom clutch disc came unmarked. Which side faces flywheel?

1: Flat side towards flywheel?

2. Flat side towards pressure plate:

Getting conflicting info. Zoom Tech Support says flat side towards flywheel but pics I see on internet show the opposite.

Example of internet pic:

Thanks.

think about it , if you put the raised section toward the flywheel as the clucth wears the springs are going to hit the flywheel bolts .

I know I could have just answered the question but it's more fun to you

I'd say flat side towards flywheel. The first clutch job I ever did was in my buddys Chevy truck. We had the disc in the other way and the springs on the disc would catch on the flywheel bolts and it wouldn't release. Had to take it back out and flip it over.
Beat me to it Johnrr

You are not getting conflicting information, "ignore the internet."

I don't see how one could tell by that picture which side is facing the flywheel

Sorry, the humor got lost. I just meant go by what zoom told you. the "big side" goes towards you so it won't hit the flywheel or bolts

And loving every second of it.

Flat side to flywheel so I don't sheer the bolts, don't rely on the internet, and the guy who mounted that orange clutch is basically screwed. Got it.

Thanks, guys.
