I am going to be working on a pair of sub-frame connectors for my A-body this weekend. Long story short I am thinking about building a set of torque boxes and possibly tieing the sub-frame connector in to them.

Does anyone have any pictures of torque boxes, I just need some ideas and inspiration?

Make some? Why don't you just buy some? For a modified car a set from Auto Rust Technicians for about $250.00 would do the job. Resto Rick sells reproductions, here's what his look like.

Thanks! I appreciate the picture.

I have the steel, the tools, and the time to do it. My poor car has seen better days () and from the looks of it they all have to be trimmed and fitted anyway since no two cars are the same.

I added a set of those to my 70 dart. They line up good once they are in place, but they were a snug fit going in.
