a stock dart rear wheel opening can handle a 235/60-15 tire. If the axle is centered perfect between the quarters, you can get a 245/60-15 tire in there. With a rolled lip, you should be able to get 255/60-15, but you may have to play with the rim back spacing. With production style rims, a 245/60-15 will only be about 1/4" away from the leaf spring on the inside bulge of the tire.

with my 68 Dart with A-body 8 3/4 moser axle/large brakes,rim/tire centered in the wheel tubs no rolled lip,i ran.. 7x15-4.5 bs-245/60/15 3.5x15-1 3/4 bs-165/15 skinnys fit and worked great as a daily driver
