Hi just wondering if anyone on here can help me with a little project.... I have sequential t/light setup off a Imperial I believe..and I would like to install it on my R/T t/lights on my 71 Superbee..kinda neat if it will work..my problem is that the harness on my 71 Superbee is only 4 prongs and the sequential has a 8 prong...Any help, pics etc. would be greatly appreciated to make this work..

Thanks Kevin

If I still had my 69 manual Id be able to help.I still have the box in the garage somewhere from the one I stripped.I think the wiring from the front goes into the box then splits to the bulbs and thats why it has more wiring. Its been to years since I had my 69.Rocky

Your bigger problem is that there are only two lights on each side and the Imperial has 3. Sequential lights need at least three or it would look funny. I've always disliked that they didn't make the third one a light and do something else to get reflectors back there. Maybe you could section the taillight housing and lens to make a third one on each side.

Anyone tried that?

The difference in wiring is probably to accomodate the brake light funciton separately from the turn function.

Kevin- the setup for the Imperial was special- never designed to be used in another car- but it can be!!!!

you need to figure out the wiring colors between the two. there is also a brake relay that needs to be used.

so the system needs- 1- left signal, 2- right signal, 3- common brake signal
from the dash area.

send me your email address and I can send you some factory wiring diagrams of the system.
