I am in process of restoring the saginaw power steering pump for my 69 roadrunner. It is an A/C car. The pulley that was on the pump that came off the car (shown on left) looks to be a '71 pulley (1281 is number on front). I also have a '69 and '70 pulley of the same diameter but their offsets are different. I wanted to use the '69 pulley but its offset is so different, I don't believe it will work.

Also have two Saginaw pumps ... the return on each is different.

Can anyone advise as to the correct pulley/offset and pump return for my application?

Thanks!

Also, the 69 pulley does not have a keyway. Both of my pumps have provision for a key.

That pulley looks like it is for the Federal pump that uses no key or bolt to hold it on.

You don't want to use the non-key way pulley on the keyed shaft. Are you saying the press on pulley came off your original pump with the keyed shaft? That doesn't seem right unless someone changed the pulley sometime.
