I have a 440 with a fairly mild Utradyne cam, hydralic lifters, and adjsutable rockers.

I would appreciate any advise on adjusting the valves.

Thanks

Make sure that the lifter for the rocker you are adjusting is on the base circle of the loosen rocker till you have free play between the rocker, pushrod, and valve tip. tighten adjuster till this free play (gap) is gone plus about 1/2 turn.
