I'm thinking about buying a set of CalTracs for my 70 GTX. A friend thinks I might not be able to run them with my super stock springs. Anybody doing it?

No go with SS springs.

Put the stock pieces back on or the split leafs from Calvert.

Can you run those split leaf springs on the street?

absolutely

Many on here do. I do, and my rear springs are the least of my worries when I street drive

They are a little softer than factory stuff. When you order them, they are made for you, so if you give them accurate info, your ride height will be what you want.

Thanks Dave nice 64. I have two of them. One is getting a 358cid NASCAR engine with a Lenco.
