You will get 1000 different answers for this. Call the converter company you decide on and let them tell you what to use as they know best. That said I have used Turbo Action and ( Luppo's ) Dynamic converters. Both work great in my street/strip cars. Ron

I've used TA and PTC. PTC's 9 1/2" converter is great for street and mild competition.

I bought about 60 converters over the years for customers... I tried many, Dynamic, PTC and ended with Edge. Dynamic took forever to order and I wasn't very happy with my converter (to high stall), PTC was good till they messed up a thread in the converter that cost me 6hours of work. They did tried to help me as good as possible, but the 6 hours just made me search for another company.
I found Edgeracing converters and I have to say he makes MUCH better converters, he really know his stuff, he always tells me what he does, why he does it, what I will expect and it always matches! He also offers an awesome service! I feel by far the best company I ever dealt with in the US and the better converters I had from PTC (I bought around 20 from them) But that's my opinion...
About TCI, Mopar & B&M I won't even talk they are so bad!
