You can buy a new Gator top right from Legendary Auto Interiors, I think they are around the $1,200 range.

FSERT. To answer your question. Yes my resto is complete!! Maybe you would consider it before going through the agony of restoring yours. My R/T is a super rare Painted top Challenger. Would still love to know your vin. You could send me a pm if you dont want the whole world to know.

"Built to US specs" (left hand drive) but "for Australia" (right hand drive)?
Sounds like a pretty car, and a combination of colors and Gator VT that isn't very common and arguably pretty rare.

Pretty sure the y05 is actually a Sales Bank car code. Barry???

Y05 is build for US sale. Nothing to do with AU at all.

Y16 is sales bank.

Heard about your car this morning from a fellow moparts member. Cool color combo! I love the gator top. I see your car has a sced. production date of C11. My Purple 70 R/T Challenger (sold new in Raleigh N.C) has a sced. production date of C12. The vins must be very close. My car is JS23U0B219649. Any advice I can offer on the resto feel free to pm me. I am in Oakville.

Dave,

My car is close to you:

I think I see two typos there, just off the top of my head.

Hi AlaskanTA

I checked out your web site and I'am curious. If I currently do not have a broadcast sheet what are the chances of you having a copy filed away?

Well, 50-50 I suppose? Either I do or I don't.

Have you checked the whole car? If not, here are some places to look:

Taped to the back side / top of the glove box insert.
Under the front bucket seats in the springs
Inside the bucket seat backs
Under the rear seat bottom
In the rear seat back.
Under the package tray(speaker shelf)
Under the carpet

Check any place you have not yet, you may find a few. If you find any for other cars, please let me know?

Barry

I think N42 and H6XW but I was to lazy to walk out to the shop and double check - blame on hurried hand writing

N41 should be there along with N42, I think. Wouldn't J54 also be on the tag along with the N96 code or is that for 'cuda's only?

The two that hit me last night were the interior as mentioned above & N95, not N96.
