I got my wheelies under control but the pits and return road will probably get me sooner or later. Gotta notch the K some more and bite the bullet before the bullet bites me! Thx for the reminder.

I have the pre '65 B body pan in an A body with 27.5" front tires. The pan is a little over 3" off the ground. The only contact with the ground was having it ski across some deep gravel in the pits at Redding. I did set the bump stops on the lower control arms to support the car off of the pan with the torsion bars loose. The first year I hated and feared this pan. Now I'm cool with it. The only fear now is a flat front tire. BTW I think this pan is 10" Deep. Oh I should mention this is a footbrake car that doesn't wheelie much over a foot. -Tom.

The pan in the photo is REALLY deep. I can't see where the holes are for the pickup but Milodon used to make a swinging pickup arm that went lower in the pan. So imagine the holes the same distance down from the main rail as current pans but the pan is an inch deeper. The "new" pans are shallower and the pickups flatter.

Yea mine has the two holes and the swinging dual line pick up even with my front end lowered 2" this weekend I was Ok but like it better with more ride height!

the old round hole ones definitely look lower/deeper
