The driver was EXTREMELY lucky to survive that crash at all, let alone walk away from it.

I hate to see anyone wreck. But this only reinforces my dislike for the 10.5 classes. They seem unsafe to me.
I agree 100%. It always seemed a very risky was to achieve equality. Many of them are amazing. This guy may be as well. But, there are always the ones who think aborting a run is gay. Too much "fast and furious" macho attitude going around. I saw a crash "AFTER" a wheelstand that caused him to cross the center line. He felt the need to get back in it. The car never settled down for the needless re-hit and he bounced off both walls. That ain't macho, that's stupid. It's the wrong mindset for a serious race car driver to have.
