Any engine building considerations? I understand it runs a little cooler..and you consume 30% more. Better for forced induction..? Would appreciate anyone sharing their experiences of making the switch.

In Australia we are only just getting E85. Hence the decision.
Just looking for tips from people who have already made the change .. benefits, things to look out for.

For us over here the major factor is the cost... its about $.20 cheaper than the regular pump gas plus you get the added octane(about 105)... yes alot of turbo guys are running on it... I've been very happy running it... the car is very consistent on it

2. When choosing cams be sure not to get anything with a wide LSA. You want the LSA to be at or less than 110.
I tested with E85 and a 112 LSA cam and was happy with it. When I changed the combo the next year I went to a bigger cam (combo reasons, not E85) and it happened to be 110 LSA.
The fuel pump is a consideration. Ethanol is not as bad as methanol, but material properties for long term operation should be considered. And the flow rate increase.
I have found that E85 is between gasoline and methanol in many ways. And I like the result.
I am running 13.5 CR naturally aspirated, aluminum heads, 0.039" quench, 279/280 at 0.050" duration cam.

thanks looks like its the right option. cooling is important as is intercooling in my build It looks like a good option. I hope the fuel pump (AeroM 11104) will keep up but mostly street use so should be ok. EFI.. so tunable. appreciate your comments. thanks everyone.
