I agree. Fatmat is great to work with and the price is good. Much less expensive than dynamat and maybe even better.

I did my floors, inner cowl and inner / outer doors with a 100sq foot roll.

very clever dinner. appetizing food fit neatly into interesting round pie.

Where is the best place to purchase "fat mat" and what is the approximate cost?

I got my fat mat on eBay. I think it was $160 for a 100sq ft roll.

Is this fatmat brand, good for heat insulation also? Or just sound? This would be installed in the floor of a 1970 Challenger. Thank You

I asked a few people who've used it and was told after approx 5 or 6 years later. they've had no signs of any drooping

Same deal, I was told it works great for both sound and heat unsulation.

I'll personally know the answer to both next summer. This car will be done long before then.
But, It gets a black vinyl top + black interior and Vintage Air A/C system. So I hope it does both well. So far it's made MAJOR improvements to the sound deadening on the interior of the car.You wouldn't believe the difference just in the sound of the door when it closes.
