apparently they dont make the firewall insulation (the one thats glued on) for 71 b-bodies. are e-bodies the same? or at least similar enough to modify to work? any help is appreciated. thanks! -kevin

I have the same issue. I'm going to try using a 71 Cuda insulation and I'm hoping it is close because the firewalls are the same.
thats what I was kinda thinking, but some people said it wouldn't work, and thats why Im askng here. please let me know how it works out. thanks! -kevin

Check with Jim at Detroit Muscle Technologies, he refers to them as a "shoddy pad". I sent him a nice one from a 72' b-body some time ago for reproduction, not sure of the current status.
You didn't tell me I'd be the only guy making it I may have to step on it.
Can't buy that stuff in small qty's. It comes in huge rolls and is used by the OEM auto companies and thier suppliers.
