Cool video, some interesting cars there. I watched all of them. I have aquestion to ask that I have always wondered the answer to. Please I hope no one takes offense to it but I have to ask. Why is it that mopar guys really seem to like to run thier cars with open headers? Seems that the percentage of Mopar racers with mufflers is very very low. I am just curious...

Fred I am not a Californian by any means. They actually do not require mufflers at either track except the street nights. On bracket days they are not required. BTW Military is what has us here in Cali and it wont be for much longer  Anyway I am a midwesterner, and ran them there as well. A good muffler should not slow the car down. In fact the street car is almost to quiet, but still manages 10.20's on a good day running CA pump swill.

because 96.854% of muscle cars have mufflers on the street..
i appreciate hearing these beast run uncorked..?
could care less about modern muffs make more power yada yada..
I want to hear it...
i can hear muffled cars on the street everyday..
its a treat for me...
fwiw..i have a complete 3.5" muffled sytem on the duster...(its off right now)
so i am not an "anti muff notzy"..
i just thoroughly enjoy the sound...of open headers on most cases....(at the track atleast)
