You dont need any of those cylinder heads to run 6.50's- 6.00s. A set of good SR's, max wedge will get you there and save dough on the rocker gear that way. EZ's as well.
You cant go wrong with any of the 400 based builds, be it a 451, 470 or 499. All depends on car weight and what your willing to compromise here and there, as far as parts longevity and engine lifespan and rpms are concerned. Obviously budget as well, but you dont need the heads you mentioned in my opinion.

I have on suggestion. Buy the 440-1 kit right off the bat. You get everything including intake so your off to the rodeo and will make tons of HP as shipped with potential for more if you have them CNC'd later like Moderns Xmas special. I bought SR's and then opened intakes to max wedge got the Indy intake, had to get a vally plate?? bought 4 different sets of rockers so far. welded to make 440-1' out of them and I still don't have the valve covers To do it again I would go 440-1 right off the bat. or get edelbrocks and home port them??
