I know of somebody who tried it. He lost 2.5 mpg on a /6.

Kinda what I thought. I couldn't see how a cup of water and some baking soda could get you a 75% increase in gas milage. If it sounds too good to be true.....

I have been looking into more of this myself. I guy I work with has done it to his commuter car for work (mid 90's chevy cavalier). He claims he is getting almost 60 mpg......

yeah hydrogen & the like have energy but with these "too good to be true deals" it takes more energy to extract it & use it than what you get back which is why they dont work.

if you pipe HHO into a OBD corolla the cars O2's wont see the unburned HC's.

just like the BS about using propane to find a vacuum leak...the rpms will rise..

Why do you think finding a vacuum leak with propane is BS. It does work.

A friend started running his '06 Ram Cummins with one. His computer picked up 2mpg. Actual odometer mileage? I haven't heard yet. He did say it blew a lot of black crap out. He runs cross country with this. Monday was his first day out.

It uses the diesel as an ignitor like a spark plug.

He talked to a guy that drove from Naples Fl to Tampa and back and averaged 48mpg in a Mercury Marquis. I didn't ask what year.

Said he used Perrier to start the new system, then distilled after that. His system only holds about 2 liters.

If this works you are just more thourghly burning the diesel. Oil change intervals should go up too. Lower emissions would be a nice thing with my slider open! I quit buying B20 because it was so expensive.

And O2s don't read HC's in the exhaust. O2 sensors read O2, imagine that! They look at the O2 and if the O2 gets low that means the mix is rich, if there is too much O2 it means it is lean.

You burn the hydrogen to release energy. It takes energy to turn the alternator to break the hydrogen from the oxygen. There is no free lunch. To get enough hydrogen to power a car engine, the water would have to look like a Jacuzzi.

What a crock. There's no difference between HHO and H2O. Or HOH for that matter.

I started a thread a little while back about building one and trying it. I have a 2000 F-250 Powerstroke that usually gets around 17 mpg. I installed it and pumped it in before the MAS. The first run with it was around 60 miles driving normal, didnt try to baby it at all. Milage went to almost 21 mpg. Good deal right? I reset the counter and let her eat for a full tank of fuel. At fillup, I got 15.3 MPG. I lost milage for some reason. I have a 120 amp alt so that should'nt have bothered it. There is a controller that you can buy or make that will control the computer to keep it from seeing too much oxygen and thinking its too lean. I have turned the system off until I can get my hands on one. I can tell you this tho, that thing friggin FLYS with the system on and yes, it pours black smoke out of it.

76' Volare, 5.9 magnum w/Iron heads. New best 10.68 at 123 mph 1/4 mile.

You might want to do some research on just how much horsepower it takes to generate 120A. That's nearly 2KW of OUTPUT, not including the electrical losses in the alternator, the friction needed to operate the belts and pulleys, and so on.

Before the flameing starts, I realize fully that the thing isn't putting out 120A for long, but the point is, there is no free lunch. It DOES take real horsepower to operate

Lemme see if I canget some pics on here in a while. My friend Bobby called me and was rolling in to Nashville today. I got some pics. I will try to load them later.

He is telling me 2-3mpg increase right now he is pulling a 40ft trailer with his '06 box stock 4x4 dually Cummins. Total weight right now is 20,000lbs. Normally he gets 10-11mpg and right now is getting 13.5 to 14.

The hydrogen isn't enough to run straight. Only a 2liter unit.

The unit pulls 10-15amps. This is his maiden voyage. Every 150 miles or so he has to pull over and fill it up. It has an idiot light to tell you when the water is low.

He bought this from Green Machine Solutions out of Jupiter Fl.

Looks really simple to replicate.

I don't know how to get these pics out of Kodak Easyshare. I did email them to myself.

I can forward them to somebody that would post them.
