Well after almost a 2 year hiatus got the Dart back to the track. Here is a list of new stuff: Santhuff rear shocks Dedenbaer glide MSD digital 7 and coil ARC switchpanel and circuit board New radiator and fuel cell NX perimeter plate system (not used today) I did put the wheelie bars on so as not to duplicate the wheelstand I did in the Bird 1 year ago. No worries anyway, launches just like it used to with front tires 3-4" off the ground. First pass ran 5.33 @ 131 Second pass 5.28 @ 132 lower tire pressure only third pass 5.300 ran out 1/4mile 8.30 @ 163 all 60' were somewhat slow at 1.21-.22. Car has gone 1.18 so will do some shock tuning. Not bad for first day. Do have significant trans leak do diagnose so we came home...

thanks guys! Bone, Bradenton runs full 1/4mile on runday sunday. I prefer to make at least a couple of 1/8th mile hits when shaking a car down. If all is well I will then let it eat. I sure am glad that trans leak did not end up on my tires... ps, Randy, caught a 36" Cobia on Saturday! Guess what's for dinner!

nice passes when you turn the kit on what do you think it will run. i know the f bird ran good.
good question, I don't really know! It is more of a cheap insurance plan as our local track runs a quick 16. I usually get in on motor but with everyone stepping it up you just never know. It is an NX perimeter plate for alky. I would guess a mild tune for 3-4 secs would net me .2 in the 1/8 so low 5.1x or 5.0x would be nice. The bird never really ran what it should've on NOS because of the loose convertor but 7.71 on motor ain't all the bad!

Heres an even better pic of your Dart, Wayne...you still got that SB on alky in her?
No, that blew up a long time ago. No sb anymore, went to the dark side, the VERY dark side!! That is why this thread has over 700 views but only a handful of people that would say something nice. It is powered by 555ci BBC.

How dare you that is just wrong on so many levels

Wayne who cares what's in it as long as it runs well and YOU have fun with it. The rest can go #^CK themselves. I have seen the car up close and it looks great.
