I have the same problem that many of you have had with the wiper motor parking. In the past few days I have read all the posts in Moparts tech questions and answer forums that I could find.
My problems are
1. wiper motor will not park
2. when I turn the wiper switch on the motor will run only at one speed
3. when I turn the switch to the off position the motor will continue running - I need to turn the key off to stop the motor
4. If I the turn the key on (acc or start positions) and the switch is in the off position the switch will click on for a few seconds and then click off few seconds. This will continue until I turn the key off.
While reading thru about 25-30 posts on this topic, several times I read about guys having the clicking issue but never read about a solution. Maybe I missed the solution or just didn't understand but I need some help.
I ran thru the bench tests for the wiper motor and the motor performed correctly and parked as it should. I bench tested 2 switches (67 Belv #2820524) and both tested correctly per the continuity test procedure in the 67 repair manual.
Do I have a grounding issue or 2 defective switches ????
