i have a 98 intrepid 3.2. and the oil light comes on when it get down to 700 rpm or less. car has 210000 miles on it. what do you guys think? oil pump or? motor has no noise

With that many miles, I suspect worn bearings. Too much clearance can cause low oil pressure and still have no noise. Take care, Jeff

If you don't hear some lower end racket on startup, or hear some noise hot even, I would screw a gauge into block and see if it's just the sender lying to you. The sender either screws into block, or it screws into "T" in cooler pipe next to oil filt.
