Where can I get the complete set of door lock cylinders and trunk cylinder? I want to get them so they are keyed the same. I have found the door cylinders and I have found the trunk cylinder; however, the are from diffrent places so they will not be keyed the same. Thanks for the help.

Jeff

They use a different key blank, I have not seen a Cuda with a trunk key that matches the doors ever.

The ignition and door locks were keyed the same. The trunk and glove box locks are keyed the same. But they cannot all be keyed the same as they have different longitudinal slots in the key blanks so they will not enter the other cylinder. At least until they are all wore out.

O.K., so for clairfication purposes what I am hearing is:

The door key is diffrent form the trunk key? So you would have three diffrent keys? One for ignition, one for doors, and one for trunk?

Or two sets of keys, door and ignition the same, and trunk different?

Exactly.. Doors & Ignition, one key... Trunk, Glovebox & Console, a second key...

Yes.

If you get the door locks you can take them to a locksmith & he can match them to your existing ignition key.

Correct. I can rekey them for you at $10 per cyl. plus actual shipping. I'm 20 mins from RI/CT border.

For the record guys, I have a set of "Tryout" keys I occasionally use for the old chryslers all cut on a Star brand "universal" blank in which the keys work in Ignition, Doors And Trunk. Problem is they are very soft and twist easily.

If it is something that you would like to have....
A door lock cylinder could be adapted to fit the trunk lock on a 70-71 `cuda. Only requiring one key (if you do not lock the console or glove box).
You may have found out already that the internals of the locks (door vs trunk) are slightly different, thus requiring different key "tracks".
Square and round keys.
