So you dont have a plate covering the valley either?
I thought that you could still use "bathtub" intake gasket with the EZ's.
I just have the valley plate and paper gaskets on mine.

The heads I have accept any aftermarket intake. not the indy one yet. If u put the factory valley plate on, it sits about a 1/2" high of the block. cause these heads are taller. I'm not sure if they make special gaskets for the front and back or have to go a different route.

Which block?

Felpro #1215 for an RB and #1214 for a B block.

You need a special valley plate to work with the Indy heads. It fits under the heads so that means you have to take the heads back off to install the valley plate. I use a plate with a removeable center section so I can change the cam without pulling the heads.

Indy also sells aluminum 1/2" spacers to put on the block to take up the space between the block and the pan.
