.060 over 318 with 9.4 to 1 compression J heads w/2.02-1.60 valves port matched and bowl blended Eddie RPM intake Lunati .494/.513 hyd cam.

I got this Holley 750 D.P. like new from a swap meet and the jets that are in now are 73 fronts and 80 backs. Hows those for a start? I havent tried to run it yet. Just tore it apart to make sure it looked good inside, which it did, but before I slap it back together wondered if those were a good starting point.

Sounds good. I ran a 750dp on my mild 340. 28 squirters (31's were too much) 74 front 80 rear. Car ran 13.80's best time with the carter 625 was 14.02.

had a very similar 318 combo with 2.02 J heads, similar hydraulic cam with an air-gap intake. Had a 750DP on that and it was jetted 74/82 or 84 or something like that, front PV no PV in rear.

So i'd say the current jets are a pretty good starting point.

Cool.

I didnt think to check the squirters yet. I believe its got pink cams on it front and back though. But thats all tunable after I got it on there though, easy enough.

Check the list number on the carb and find it here.. Carb They list how Holley shipped them. I would baseline it as Holley did new, then jet to your engine as needed...

mine liked lots of squirter for some reason, I had like 35s or 37s in mine with 50cc pumps. Eventually I put a smaller 30cc cam in the front but it was on the edge of being lean (would hesitate under certain conditions).

with those dual planes on the street you can go with a big carb. my 318(323") is running a holley 770 SA. 72/78. i use a big thick spring to close the pod.

i like the ratios near stock jetting provides. because you want the car to pull away with the least ammount of pump shot.

i scoff at 600 holley recommendations, save for stock vehicles.

pretty cool, drive the jets lean, but squirt the fuel yourself. my jet set only goes down to 50-100
