01 Intrepid with a 2.7L

Are the head gaskets MLS type gaskets from the factory??? I've got an 01 intrepid with milky oil, poured out like cream. I pulled the spark plugs and they all look the same (some carbon, not steam cleaned). It could be water pump failure since it is internal. 125k miles and since the spark plugs look original I doubt the pump has been done.

I always though the MLS style gaskets almost never fail?? What are the odds a head gasket failed especially since none of the plugs look "clean"???

I pulled the motor to clean out the pan, do the timing chains and check the bearings. I'd rather not have to buy the $200 head set if I don't have to.
