I read the other post recently regarding engine bay pics, but on a different note, i'm at the point in my restoration (4-speed 70 challenger) where I need to clean up the sheet metal in my engine bay before paint.

After sandblasting, I noticed several holes that were drilled into the inner fenders and firewall...etc.. for things such as electric fuel pump, extra wires going through firewall, etc..

Does anyone have pictures of an empty engine bay and firewall ?

Oh, It's a 4-speed 1970 Challenger.

Thanks for any help

fill some of the my engine bay has several holes drilled where they do not belong

70 non-a/c 4-speed -- mine looks exactly the same. Late Feb/early Mar LA-built.

Iceman...Yours has the four speed pedal bracket, it appears as if you painted right over it (incorrect). The orange I was commenting on does not have the bracket or the holes, in fact you can see the dimples on the firewall where they should be.

I believe there are some differences - 1970 'Cuda vs. Challenger (besides "ROAD LAMPS")

Does it have A/C? Does it have rallye gauges?

Negative. Just went out and checked -- all is correct, as would be expected of Bruce H's work. In that just-painted photo, the bracket holes must be covered on the inside with tape or something...
