Ok without turning this into a moral issue (it is a 40 year old car) I am putting a diffrent speedometer into my car. I was wondering how to set the odometer back to zero. I already know how to get the odometer out of the speedometer but how do you take it apart to reset it to zero?

Thanks!

take the barrel w the numbers off and (by hand) move the tenths end backwards & you'll reach a point where you can move the next barrel back a number & so on. It's like a Rubics cube and I cant describe the technique exactly but w a bit of time you'll be able to figure it out. It'
s not bad once you get the hang of it & get in a rythem w it
