his guys whats involved to replace the lower bearing , what needs to de done ? can you take the coupler off that way or have to dismantle the whole lot !

The only way to do it without dis-assembling the column is take the lower coupler of the shaft and remove the cross pin from the main shaft. Then you can take the lower bearing support out.

Provided it's a floor shift. Column shift cars the shift tube has to come out which requires complete dis-assembly

yes floor shift , !! how difficult is the cross pin to get out ? would it be a press fit or ???
