installed doors all lined up good but when closing the doors it pushes the interior light switch to turn off the lights but the switch is sticking out too far for the door to close . can't figure out how to get this to go in further so the door will shut.( 66 coronet )

my advice and best solution get new switches. They auto adjust the on/off pressing in the stud sleeve and setting the right position at the first tine you close the doors once aligned
