What would be a good generator to run my battery charger?

I have 3 generators that are 5000w or larger and don't really want to lug them around just for a battery charger at the track.

I was thinking of one of the small suit case units, but wasn't sure how much power I need to run the charger.

It is one of the XS 16v units like this one:

I couldn't seem to find documentation on power consumption so I was hoping one of you may have a suggestion.

Lite and quiet are my main two needs. I haul my car on an open trailer so I wont be using it to power all kinds of extra accessories.

I have a Yamaha EF1000si generator that I bought just for use at the track and camping. It's super quiet and is small, light and it works great. It comes with a lead set for charging batteries, runs on 87 pump gas.I use a open trailer also,so this fits well with taking stuff to the track that goes in the back of the truck.

Ebay was the best price, but look around online.I've had it for 6+ years and it's never given me any problems.

Check out www.harborsportscycle.com for the compact Honda generators.
They helped us out a lot this year. Just want to mention them. I think they
ship FREE.

I would stick with the Honda or Yamaha inverter style. I think my Yamaha is a 2300watt and it will run my roof top AC. It also governs its own speed by power demand and is very quiet. Price is more than some of the cheaper/louder units but to me it was worth it.

Check this one out, it is new and gets some good reviews so far, it is priced right at $499 at Sam's Club. I can say from experience that they do have very good customer service, I have one of there 3500 watt genertators.
